Acadiocaris is an extinct genus of spelaeogriphacean crustacean that existed in Canada during the Lower Carboniferous period.[1] It was first named by Brooks in 1962,[2] and contains the species Acadiocaris novascotica,[3] named by Copeland in 1957[4] for the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. It is the only species in the family Acadiocarididae.[5]
